C. S. Lewis referred to this world as the “Shadowlands.” As such, many of the things we think real are only the shadow of reality.Certainly life in this place is temporal and fleeting. The life that is promised to the believing is where we are encouraged to set our hope. We are encouraged to focus then on things of true substance--on those things which will follow us to the next life. And what is that?
