Happiness may very well be the motive behind everything we do, but chasing it does not bring it to us. In one sense, happiness is waking to realities that already exist. The sun is always shining; happiness is waking to its value and giving thanks for it. Happiness is knowing and experiencing all that God is and desires to be for us in life. Wake up and stay awake!
