It is a great grace that goodness comes to us one choice at a time. If a battle is won before it is fought, then let me pause before every action and ask if it is good; will it result in goodness? Imagine a life devoted only to what is good--one that aggressively seeks only what benefits--never what harms, and we catch a glimpse of Heaven itself.
