Holding on the hurts is never a good thing. I doesn’t not matter if the hurt comes from others or is self inflicted; we must not only forgive it, we must let it go if we want to experience healing. It does no good to keep revisiting the matter once it is forgiven. The power to forgive and move on comes in part from our firm persuasion of God forgiveness.
