The question we should ask is not does it feel good, but is it good?

“Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept correction will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.” Prov.29
Not everything that feels good is good, yet knowing this hasn’t eradicated bad decisions. The universal lie is that we believe that there is still plenty of time to recover from bad choices. Of course, believing this is also a bad choice--the worse part of which isn’t the feel-good experience that we trade for physical and spiritual health, but that we reinforce a gambling habit where the house ultimately will win.
