Something real is something actual--not imagined or fake. Never fake it where life is concerned. This will surely mean that we overcome how we feel and do what we know is good, right and true. I may not feel like loving someone, but if I have pledged to love them, then let me love in action even when feelings fail. Being authentic isn’t living by your feelings or “following your heart” as it is commonly called. It is consciously choosing to live by what “is” right not because it “feels” right.
