Jesus has left no doubt, at least to His disciples, about the value of the Bible as a place where He meets to speak with us. This is of course the only way to use the Bible. In our hands alone, the Bible has been used to justify some pretty terrible stuff. If we want a solid foundation that will help us make good decisions, we have something infinitely better than just the Bible, we have its Author living in us and applying its words to our hearts.
