An honest review of our own shortcomings should be sufficient motivation to silence our criticism of another’s.

We may hold to our moral code, even speak in its favor, so long as we do not stop loving people who do not share it. When Jesus tells us not to judge, He is not saying that we abandon our moral beliefs but our tendency to place greater emphasis on dealing with it in others and not in ourselves.
