Because kindness is a way of living, it flows from individuals who choose to live this way into the lives of every living thing around them. A kind person is kind to everybody and everything. God is said to feed the birds of the air. I suppose that sometimes He does this when we put up a bird feeder in our yard. He uses us this way. Being kind to an animal is divinely inspired.
