It may seem strange to us, but our life is not ours alone. We belong. We belong to family, to our friends, and principally, we belong to God. To realize this is to understand life’s purpose. Without it we amble selfishly along. We live to be be enjoyed by family, friends, and our Maker. We also live to enjoy them, to discover and lay hold of the value of these wonderful relationships--of loving and being loved, of serving and being served.
