“Happiness is a state of mind.” Meme

Happiness may be more than a state of mind, but it is a big part of it. I learned years ago that a person can be in a peaceful place but have no peace in the heart. One can also be in dire circumstances and yet be fully at peace. It is wonderful when our inner and outer life coincide in goodness, but until they do, we can still choose the happiness that come from living life from within.
