A simple life is as much in our understanding as it is in our practice. One complements the other. How we understand God, the purpose of life, our responsibilities, and our relationships, will have a direct impact on the way we experience life. It makes perfect sense that if we simplify our understanding, we will simplify our life. Anything to complex to explain to a child may not be worth wasting time thinking about.
