The ability to see your own faults is a necessary skill to maintain any healthy relationship. If we cannot see our own faults, how can we work to correct them? It is equally important not only to discern the error of one’s way, but to be able to confess it, ask forgiveness, and work to remedy it. Knowing when I am wrong is the first step: being able to set it right is the step that must follow.
