When was the last time you did something special for someone--something unexpected? When was the last time you did something special for God? It may be impossible to surprise God but I am sure He appreciates special treatment as much as the next person, perhaps more. Going out of your way to do something you know He will enjoy is one of the best ways to say thank you. Do not give God only what is expected; do more than is expected.
