We might think that a pure person is a naive person but such is not the case. The pure in heart see God, and as such see God in all things, even in an atheist. An atheist who is an atheist because they are trying to be intellectually honest may not know it, but they reflect God’s image by trying to be sincere. The pure in heart sees God in them.
