I use checklists but I try not to live by them where relationships are concerned. I have, at times, found myself rushing through my prayers just so I can check it off that I have prayed for someone. If we are not careful, we may do only our duty in prayer and miss out on the delight of watering the garden of others. People who live by delight have no problem doing more than their duty.
