Going back is sometimes going forward; indeed it may be the only way forward. Returning to your spiritual roots with a renewed faith will not only add fresh, but many times unparalleled, growth and fruitfulness to life. Such souls often become a source of great spiritual strength to others. Many know the sad song, “I once was lost, was found, and then got lost again.” Jesus prays for every wayward soul to return.
