It is easy to be overwhelmed by the poverty in the world. This happens to me everytime I see a picture of some starving child. I immediately want to find a way to send them food. Thank God there are charities that do this. Modern conveniences make it easy enough to get involved. Mother Teresa once said, “Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time and always start with the person nearest you.” Thank God! Technology has made the world smaller so helping a distant child is now within reach of us all.
