The ability to calm oneself is of great value. Remaining calm usually precedes a wise decision. Everytime I listen to God’s reassurances a sweet calmness stills the storm within. When I listen to myself, the waters churn. Remaining calm is for me a matter of focus, one, refusing to listen to lies and two, speaking the truth to my heart that I am in God’s hands.
