God understands. He understands each of us. He walks in our thoughts and sees the motives of our heart. Knowing this can either be intimidating or intimately comforting. I suppose it intimidates those who do not want His company. It comforts those who understand that His acceptance has nothing to do with whether we deserve it or not, but is predicated on His absolute love and therefore commitment to our highest good.
