Trivial pursuit

Useful knowledge has value. If knowledge is not useful, then it probably has no value. Americans seem to excel at trivia. Our culture resembles the proverbial river “a mile wide but only one inch deep.” Too much of what we know is googled not seriously researched. We are an internet generation of quips and quotes from works like Moby Dick without actually having read and experienced Moby Dick. Lord work in us a depth of character, and real maturity.
