It is one thing to accept that “it is as what it is,” and shrug your shoulders, and another to accept the same with a happy and humble heart. The second attitude trusts in God’s goodness to render everything beautiful in its time. One may grudgingly accept their circumstances, another accepts the circumstances from God’s hand. One lays down and says “oh well, the other keeps running knowing that the finish line is as sure as the progress made in the next stride.
