“When in doubt, don’t.” I think, on the whole, this is a wise principle. When we do something, it should be done with confidence, not fear or the apprehension associated with doubt. If we question doing it, we probably shouldn’t, or at least wait till the clouds of uncertainty pass before acting. This bit of wisdom has saved many people from the injury of acting in ignorance.
