Common sense is supposed to be common. Of course this does not mean that everyone has it, or will use it. It also doesn’t mean that the "common" sense shared by most is "good" sense. Good sense is more desirable than plain ole common sense, because good sense results in goodness, but history has shown that the common sense shared by a majority is not always good.
