The counsel of Scripture is simple, but it often addresses complex problems. Humans tend to complicate the hell out of trying to apply Heavenly wisdom. It is not God’s wisdom, but our acceptance of it that is often hard. I think it wise to realize that there is a learning curve to living in the simplicity of God’s counsel. Praise be, like others graces, doing so eventually becomes second, nature.
