I read recently where one popular ministry was encouraging Christians to boycott purchases from any store that substituted “Happy Holidays” for “Merry Christmas.” I am wondering how this stick it to um in the name of the Lord attitude matches up with the prominent words of Jesus to turn the other cheek. If the unbelieving say, “Happy Holidays, “ nothing prohibits us from replying, “Merry Christmas.” If we return kindness for their insult, they may come to know the Christ of Christmas. 12/1/2009 Conversations Within ts
