The word “church” probably invokes a number of mental images, but a definition of the word simply describes a gathering. People congregate for many reasons: a sports event, a reunion, a funeral, or a celebration of one kind or another. A Christian church is a gathering of people who are drawn together because of a common love for all things Christ. Where they gather is inconsequential. The reason is everything.
