I suppose it is good to review and consider our progress, not so much to bolster our pride but to determine if we are actually growing under grace. When I look back at the person I was, I am encouraged. When I look forward to the person I want to be I am challenged. I don't think it is wise to spend too much time and energy looking back or forward.
