God will guide His children as much in trial and error, as in dreams and visions simply because God “ordinarily makes use of means.” We understand the science of evaporation and precipitation, but it is still the Lord who sends the rain. It should come as no surprise to us that God will use our rolled up sleeves, and a hard day’s work to accomplish the goodness we ask from Him in our prayers. I am convinced that Father wants partners in goodness, not puppets or mere spectators.
