Sometimes we show up without showing up. If we do this often, we may have burned out of a good thing. Just going through the motions is both a symptom and the cause of a heartless existence. Put your heart in whatever you do. Know why you are doing it and do it every time like it’s the first time. Be there. Be fully there. When you tell someone you love them, say it like if you don’t say it, you’ll burst.
