Guard yourself from burnout by refusing to walk down any path that leads toward it. Any path that is not bringing us joy or at least leading us to it in the end, is a path we should avoid. I am confident that God wants joy to grow in the garden of our activities. And what is joy? Christ explained that joy is being pleased that God is pleased with our attitudes and actions.
