I have wasted too much time looking for loopholes where God forbids me to play when He invites me to romp and stomp where there is nothing to forbid. Where is such a place? There is no law against walking in love or joy or peace. There are no restrictions against patience or being kind, and good, no rules forbidding faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. In the footsteps of Jesus, we live on the positive side of life. And while there are no rules against playing in this orchard, the only way to get in is by humble faith. The doorway into the peaceful orchard of Christ is low and to enter in one must stoop. God doesn’t want to break our adventuresome spirits just our stubborn wills. 5/21/2009 Conversations Within ts
