O Lord, do not delay! Ps.70.5 ESV
There are many reasons we might utter these words in prayer. There are probably just as many reasons why God may be holding back. Perhaps He delays simply because He wants to feel someone tugging on the other end of the rope. In other words, “Is there anyone there?” Jesus told us to be persistent in prayer and then asked, “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” It just might be that Father allows us to suffer want to show us that He is what we really need. 5/15/2009 Conversations Within ts
