“When you don’t fear God, you fear everything else." - Oswald Chambers.

Do you judge the children of man uprightly? Ps.58.1 ESV

Whenever we pass judgment on God’s judgments, we do so, not only with erring judgment but also with arrogance. The angels ask, “Who are you O man to reply back to God?” But our generation seems to have no problem asking God to justify His actions. We ask Him to answer for the suffering in the world, why certain sins are wrong, and how everlasting punishment is just. I think we forget that we borrow the very air we breathe to make our complaints. I think we need, I think I need, some good ole fashion “fear of God” put back into our attitudes before Him. 5/1/2009 Conversations Within ts
