“Let us come boldly to the throne of grace.” Heb.10
If we have a relationship with God at all, grace initiated it, defines it and will make it endure. What this means is that everybody is doing better than we deserve. Because this is the nature of grace, we are encouraged to approach God boldly, not timidly. Anything we receive from Him is not determined by our worthiness but by the greatness of His grace. Boldness in asking is not a bolster of any expected entitlement but a complement to Him. In effect we are saying to God that we believe He is not only powerful and wealthy but He is generous.
