“The law tells me how crooked I am. Grace comes along and straightens me out.” -Dwight Moody

“...you are not under law but under grace.” Rom.6

We must remember that the remarkable message of the Bible is best understood as a whole, not in its individual parts. If we read only parts of the Bible, we may be discouraged by its condemnation of our sins. But the whole message tells us that God's grace is not limited by human failure. Part of the message shows us only of our need for grace; the rest reveals how it has or can come to us in Jesus. God loves us with all our imperfections, and because He does, He does not leave us this way. Grace is an enabling power which promises to overcome every human failing. God not only promises to forgive but also to transform. Conversations Within ts 6/11/2012 (Jax, FL)
