John Newton's “Amazing Grace” tops the list of favorite Christian hymns year after year. It is easy to understand why. Christians in every generation have their own story of God's remarkable grace; indeed grace defines what it means to be a Christian. When I consider my personal history it is nothing short of amazing, not only that God has forgiven me time and time again but I experience remarkable kindnesses from Him every day. God is good to me.
