We should resist the temptation to make excuses for our own bad behavior by blaming others for it. It is proper that we assume personal responsibility for our own actions. The “blame game” creates a self-made prison. The key that unlocks this prison door is admitting to ourselves that we are solely responsible for the choices we make. Once admitted, and the door to the prison swings open, we can start making new choices and start creating a new life.
