"An unexamined life is not worth living." Plato

I can think of few things, if any, that are good when they are allowed to run rampant and unchecked. Weeds must be controlled, lawns cut, and personal desires brought under control. It is wise to examine our lives if we are to keep our desires in check. We are inclined to be too too! We work too much, play too much, eat too much; in short, we let things get out of control and run rampant. If our lives are overrun, our garden's overgrown, it may be a good time to get out the pruning shears and start cutting.

“I passed by the field of a sluggard, by the vineyard of a man lacking sense, and behold, it was all overgrown with thorns; the ground was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.” Prov.24.30-31 Conversations Within” ts 3/23/2017
