A well cultivated inner life will always feast on the delights of its fruit.

Every day we are bombarded with things going on around us that give rise to a response within us. One key to peaceful living is learning to live life purposefully from within, and to take charge of how we respond to things that come our way. In other words, what I nurture within my soul can determine my inner life, not just the physical stimuli surrounding me. All hell may be going on around me, but the soul at peace with God can know Heaven within.
