What moves you to compassion? A starving child, an abused animal, or an old person struggling with pain will move a good many of us. But what about someone in a bad mood because they have had a bad day? Or what about a misbehaving teen who never really had a father? Are we moved to compassion only when we see certain kinds of suffering? Are we moved to only feel compassion, or do we actually show our compassion through acts of kindness?
