"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.” Gal.6.1 Conversations Within” ts 7/5/2020
Grace modeste- an "unassuming grace." Any discussion of a spiritual nature should reflect this mutual kindness. The following are simply my devotional reflections each morning. I cast them like "bread upon the waters," hoping that all who find them will find something of value to nurture their own inner life.

"Compassion will cure more sins than condemnation." - Henry Ward Beecher
Understanding human weakness should be easy for each of us, mainly because every single one of us expresses it. Who hasn’t lost their temper, or given into temptation, or judged or criticized another? Who doesn’t jump to conclusions before having the facts, or say things we shouldn’t, or put off doing what we know needs to be done? The next time you see someone acting foolish, remember your own sins, and let compassion move you to some gentle response, not some “look down on others” attitude.
