Giving bread to a hungry person seems natural enough, but taking care of someone who has wronged you is supernatural. Grace is the smile of God when we think to see His anger. We are never more like Christ, than when we express kindness to someone who has hurt us. Forgiveness is the power of love’s power. Forgiveness, especially of an enemy, empowers us to breathe the air of Heaven even on earth.
