The Bible tells us when God created the heavens and the earth they were at first formless and empty, translating the Hebrew words, tohu bohu. It also tells us that when God judges the world at its end, He will stretch a line of confusion (tohu) and emptiness (bohu) over it. Emptiness will be all that remains of man’s faithless accomplishments under the sun, tohu bohu. The grand experiment of life under our own rule will come to its end. How many times must we repeat this experiment in futility before we finally understand that the results will always be the same? Tohu bohu! A zero is always a zero until you put the One in front of it. 1/4/2009 ts
