The good life is not to be found in the selfish pursuits of the individual but in one’s loving service to the whole. People were created not to live as a single cell but as a colony. Our energies find their greatest expression nurturing the life of something greater than ourselves. Christ wants to join us to life as He knows it--to the very life of God--a life of loving and being loved. What if you cannot find a community of true friends who live this way, create one.
