“As for God,his way is perfect;” Psalm 18
Our perceptions of perfection are surely not perfect. I should think this is true especially where God is concerned. This does not mean that God isn't perfect, just that we have wrong notions about His perfections. This may be one reason why the Scriptures personify Him. It helps to think of Him in human ways even if our idea of Fatherhood is skewed by our own imperfect fathers. These things keep us from knowing Him fully, at least in the here and now but not from knowing Him in the sense of discovery. One reason He promises eternal life is because it will take an eternal life to find out all that He is. Conversations Within ts 7/4/2012 (Jax)
