I value my friends who speak the truth to me even when I hurts. Needless to say, I hurt a lot. The truth is that I know my friends love me when they rebuke me. But good advice, if it is to be heard, will need the wisdom of knowing not only what to say; but when and how to say it. It does little good to tell people the truth if your actions or lack of them have taken you out of earshot. It takes work to position yourself to be heard by those you love. A genuine friend knows it is worth the effort. Conversations Within ts 7/6/2012
