What do you do when you cannot stop something as terrible as world hunger? We can ease what pain and sufferings are within our reach. Mother Teresa is noted for saying, “If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” Sadly there are some causes that must run their course, at least for the present. This does not mean that we should not hold the hand of the dying, or ease the pain of the suffering, or pray for those who seem committed to self-destruction. There may be limits to what our love can do but there should be no limits to our love. Conversations Within ts 6/25/2012 (On the road)
