God is privy to our thoughts and will often interact with us while we are thinking. This is especially true when we invite Him to do so. Reasoning together or conversations within is how I like to think about these interactions. Time, spent under the light of God, and with the help of God, thinking about life--relationships--just about anything really, is the most valuable aspect about our friendship with Him.
