The universe is like an artistic tapestry. Its physical and spiritual laws are woven into the fabric. Cause and effect are part of the workings of the artist's hands just as prayer and their answers display His creative skill. When God desires to do something in the world I am sure He moves people to pray. When we pray we answer that call just as surely as God answers our prayers.
